Electrical Department

The Department of Electrical engineering was started in the academic year 1983. The Department offers an undergraduate programme in the field of Electrical Engineering for which the student intake is currently 27. The department is currently headed by Mr. Sarphale D.Y. The department has a team of well qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty who have also undergone professional training from leading organizations in Teaching methodologies.

All the laboratories that were set up initially are constantly upgraded keeping in view both university requirement and the research activities in the department. The students are encouraged to work on both in-house projects and also with leading research organizations in Electrical activities. Several students and faculties have published papers in National and International Journals along with paper presentation. The teaching and learning process based on conceptual understanding of core domain knowledge in Electrical as well as improved programming skills abilities.

. Our aim is to develop professionals by providing conducive educational environment and ability among students for innovation. Due to current “I” scheme pattern syllabus, students can handle and utilize various laboratory equipment’s with confidence. The students of diploma are job ready through various mini projects, final year project. Industrial visits and hand on various software as a part of their curriculum. Development of life cycle and environmental science further groom them for professional life. MSBTE’s remarkable Hub and spoke initiative gives them an opportunity to visit gigantea industries and interact with industry experts.
