About Computer Department

WELCOME TO DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER ENGINEERING

Computer Engineering is the study of the theoretical foundations of information and computation. It also includes practical techniques for their implementation and application in computer systems. Computer scientists invent algorithmic processes that create, describe, and transform information and formulate suitable abstractions to design and model complex systems.

The basic objective to start diploma course in Computer Science & Engineering is to impart knowledge in computer hardware & software with related areas like Microprocessors, Software Engineering, Programming skills, Compilers, Database Management system etc. The 3 years Diploma Programme in Computer Engineering is meant for the students who have passed 10th standard. The Department has highly qualified, experienced, motivated and dedicated teaching faculty. They are actively involved in Development activities in the emerging areas of Computer Engineering. The department has well equipped 5 laboratories with 24 hours Internet facility.

This course opens a wide range of opportunities in software, hardware, networking industry, and other IT-enabled services sectors. Students can work as Programmer, Software Designers, System Administrator, Web Designers as well as Entrepreneur. The courses offered in this program have been designed to meet the demands of the current trend of an IT industry.
